Bites & Bits 36/52

setembro 11, 2016

(Eu sei tenho andado a perder coisas maravilhosas).

Only this year I started to see Hayao Miyazaki animation films (Studio Ghibli). I believe I've been missing a lot of things. One character that already fascinated me (even before watching the movie) was Totoro. So that was the first one that I watched and loved it. The story and how it's told it's beautiful... but the drawing and the colours really sucked me in. I've been collecting a few Totoro things related - and this print arrived this week at my home. It's by the artist Audra Auclair. I love her art, and even got some of her original prints, but this one just warms my heart.

My squirrel collection of things also grew a little this week with squirrel paper clips!

I went to the studio, in the middle of the week, with the intention of glue and starting to work on the new 2017 planners, instead I spent the whole time cleaning and organizing my storage closet. I don't even know how I managed to fill seven medium garbage bags!! (I fill that I still new to clean and purge a little more).

Isto não me faz parar, mas atrasa-me e deixa-me bastante frustrada.

I might not have mentioned before but there are three things that I like a lot - Passion Fruit, Cider and New Zealand. What all these three things have in common? Until this week I would say nothing, but  I discovered these Passion Fruit Cider, from New Zealand. Besides that it has a funny name and an awesome label.

I'm still excited with the Youtube thing and editing the videos. [I even started to think about having at least two videos per week, one about books and other about drawings] I forgot how it was fun to edit and explore the possibilities of the edition software. I wish some of the videos had more quality, not just the image but also the audio. The camera with the best image and audio is batteries operated and it runs out of batteries faster than lightning sound. It can be frustrating. I'm considering start to putting some money aside to invest in a new point and shoot camera. Not just because of the videos (that's not even the main reason), but I've been noticing my main camera it's getting a little too much used and less and lesser sensible to light. Which makes it quite hard to take photos to Nuts for Paper products. It's not gonna stop me, but it sure slows me down and sometimes frustrate me. If you're curious my cameras are Fujifilm FinePix S5600 (which has about 10 years) and CANON - PowerShot A570 IS (and this one about 8 years). They are little absolute, but still works, for some types of photography.

How's been your week?
